Oleylamine-also known as octadecylamine, is an important organic compound

Time: 2024-10-14 Hits: 0

Physical state: Colorless to light yellow liquid.
Odor: There is a strong amine odor at room temperature.
Solubility: Almost insoluble in water, but soluble in general organic solvents such as acetone, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, etc.
Structure: Oil amine contains one fatty hydrocarbon group and one amino group. Fatty alkyl groups have unsaturated properties and can undergo addition reactions, oxidation reactions, etc. to form different compounds. Meanwhile, the presence of amino groups allows oil amines to act as alkaline substances and react with acids to form salts.
Application:
Surfactant: Oil amine is a common surfactant that can be used as an emulsifier, dispersant, and plasticizer.
Fine chemical production: commonly used in the preparation of cosmetics, ceramics, and dyes.
Chemical synthesis and catalysis: Oil amines can be used as lubricants, reaction media, etc. in chemical synthesis and catalytic reactions.
Pesticides and drug formulations: Oil amines can also be used as plant protectants, drug carriers, etc. in pesticides and drug formulations.
Complex and Nanomaterials: Oil amines can form complexes with metal ions, which can be used in the synthesis of nanomaterials, catalytic reactions, and other fields.
Organic synthesis intermediate: Oil amine is a basic raw material for fine chemical production, and many useful derivatives can be obtained through chemical reactions
