2-Ethylhexanoic Acid(2-EHA)

Mainly used for preparing various metal salts as drying agents for coatings and paints,

their esters can be used as plasticizers and raw materials for carbenicillin.

Most of 2-Ethylhexanoic acid(2-EHA) is converted into salts of metals such as zirconium, cobalt, molybdenum, zinc, etc.,

which are used as paint drying agents and heat stabilizers for polyvinyl chloride plastics;

Tin salt as an additive for plastic pipes; Barium salts and cadmium salts are used in plastic rolling products and stabilizers,

while 2-Ethylhexanoic acid(2-EHA) and its esters are also used in pharmaceuticals, fungicides, metal lubricants, cosmetics, and other fields.

Its glycerides are excellent plasticizers. 2-Ethylhexanoic acid(2-EHA) is a raw material for the pharmaceutical carbenicillin.

It is also used in the synthesis of many dyes and fragrances.

Intermediate of paint and coating drying agents,

used as a modifier for alkyd resins, used in the production of peroxides as catalysts for polymerization reactions (such as PE),

used for lubricating oil esters and PVC stabilizers.
